This directory contains information about the adapter board
developed to interface a SD card.

All SD Card lines are available so the card can be accessed
both in SPI and SDIO modes.

The following files are provided:

Schematic.pdf
Board schematic

SD Socket (F9186166).pdf
Datasheet of the Full Size SD Socket used in the the board.
It corresponds to Farnell Part number 9186166

PCB.png

Gerber.zip
Board Gerber files
     SD_Adapter-Front.gtl Front side
     SD_Adapter-Back.gbl Back side
     SD_Adapter.drl Main drills
SD_Adapter-NPTH.drl Non plated drills for socket alignment

Additional notes:

The SD socket shell is the only Ground connection
In order for the card detect and write enable switches to operate
at least one of the four socket metal supports must be connected to
the main circuit ground at pins 4 or 7.
The four metal supports correspond to CN1 pins 12, 13, 14 and 15
   in the Schematic.

   Resistors R1, R2, R3, R6, R8, R9, R10 and R11 are 22 Ohm values

   Resistors Rp1, Rp2, Rp3, Rp6, Rp7, Rp9, Rp10, Rp11 are 47k values

   C1 is 100nF
   C2 is 10uF
